Congressman John Larson (D-Conn.), lead sponsor of the Fair Elections Now Act, has released a statement in support of Fair Elections campaign reform in the wake of the rehearing of Citizens United V. FEC by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) became a co-sponsor of the Fair Elections Now Act, joining lead sponsors Sens. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Arlen Specter (D-Pa.) on the bill.

The Fair Elections Now Act was introduced in both chambers of Congress yesterday. The bipartisan bill, sponsored by Sens. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Arlen Specter (R-Pa.) and Reps. John Larson (D-Conn.) and Walter Jones (R-N.C.) will help end the campaign money chase on Capitol Hill and make our elections about voters, and not wealthy interests.
